On February 27th, members of our team swapped warm beds for the cold, hard floor of Birmingham New Street station, all in support of a life-changing cause. We took part in the Railway Children Big Station Sleepout, raising awareness and vital funds to protect vulnerable children in the UK, India, and Tanzania.
Every year, thousands of children around the world are forced to flee their homes due to poverty, abuse, violence, and neglect. Many end up alone on the streets, facing unimaginable dangers and exploitation. It’s a heartbreaking reality—but one we can change.
Early intervention is critical. The sooner these children are reached, the better their chance of a safe future, before they fall through the cracks or fall victim to abuse.
That’s why we’re proud to support Railway Children, a remarkable charity working tirelessly to prevent children from living alone and at risk on the streets. From outreach and safeguarding to family reunification and long-term support, their work transforms lives.
A huge well done to our brilliant colleagues who took part in the sleepout—Monica Barbosa, Leanda Waring, and Thomas Harris—for braving the cold and shining a light on such an important cause.
We’re delighted to share that, thanks to everyone’s incredible support, the fundraising target has been reached—an amazing achievement that will make a real impact on vulnerable young people.
