A Few Words from Rose Rees

Upon receiving the MBE, Rose Rees expressed her gratitude: “Thanks to everyone for your kind words on the award. It was a total shock – a bit overwhelming, but I am very honoured. My mom is thrilled, and my dad would have been too – sadly, I lost him last year. Dad helped people all his life and was a great role model. He worked six and a half days a week to provide for his family and was the kindest man I have ever known. That’s all I try to do – help others where I can. I am very grateful to those who have worked so hard and for so long behind the scenes on the nomination.”

Conclusion

Rose Rees’s receipt of the MBE is a fitting recognition of her outstanding contributions to diversity and inclusion in the rail industry. Her work at Auctus Management Group and Midland Metro Alliance has transformed lives and set a benchmark for excellence and commitment to EDI values. Rose Rees continues to inspire and lead by example, making the world a more inclusive place for all.
