Delivery
Birmingham-based Auctus Management Group, in partnership with its specialist subsidiary RSS Infrastructure, is proud to play a key role in the successful delivery of the Midland Metro Alliance (MMA) project. Through our integrated service offering, we provide a comprehensive range of capabilities encompassing arboriculture, civil engineering, rail infrastructure, rail welding, project labour, workforce training, and compliance management.
Our teams deliver consistent excellence and innovation across the Alliance, supported by a skilled workforce that includes Grey Hat Construction/Works Managers, Black Hat Supervisors, engineers, gangers, qualified tradespeople, and dedicated project administration and welfare personnel. Safety, compliance, and quality underpin our approach, with the Intelligent Fingerprint sweat-based drug and alcohol testing system embedded across the project to uphold industry-leading safety standards. All teams are branded under the Midland Metro Alliance, working as one team to deliver this iconic project for the West Midlands.
As a core partner of the Midland Metro Alliance, Auctus Management Group has also championed workforce development by creating the Tram Construction Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard, designed and led by RSS Infrastructure. To date, 16 apprentices have successfully completed the programme, contributing to the long-term capability and sustainability of light rail infrastructure delivery.
Committed to generating local opportunity and social value, we collaborated with Jobcentre Plus at the project’s outset to identify 50 unemployed individuals from the West Midlands area.
Through a targeted Sector-Based Work Academy, 26 participants transitioned into full-time employment after completing an intensive eight-week training course delivered across four leading West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) colleges.
This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to community regeneration and building the future workforce for the region’s transport network.
