We join the Royal British Legion in honouring the theme: “Remember Together – For All Who Serve”

Honouring Service and Sacrifice: Marking Armistice Day

On 11th November, employees from Auctus Management Group and RSS Infrastructure came together in silence to mark Armistice Day — a moment to honour those who have served in the Armed Forces.

At 11 am, teams across the country paused for a two-minute silence, joining millions across the UK in quiet reflection.

Remembering Together – For All Who Serve

Armistice Day marks the moment the guns fell silent at the end of the First World War in 1918. Its meaning goes far beyond that single event. It gives us time to remember the courage and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community — from past generations to those serving today.

This year’s Royal British Legion theme, “Remember Together – For All Who Serve,” calls on us to reflect on our shared duty. It reminds us to support veterans, service personnel, and their families, both now and in the years ahead.

Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Community

Auctus Management Group and RSS Infrastructure proudly hold the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award and are signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant.

We are committed to supporting those who serve. We offer career opportunities, flexible working, and ongoing support for reservists, veterans, and members of the wider military community.

This approach strengthens our organisation and reflects our values of respect, unity, and gratitude.

Marking Anniversaries of Service and Sacrifice

This year’s remembrance coincides with several key anniversaries.

The 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War encourages us to honour the sacrifices made by that generation — on the front lines and at home. Events marking VE Day and VJ Day remind us of their courage and strength.

The 75th anniversary of the Windrush Generation’s arrival in the UK highlights the role Caribbean men and women played in rebuilding post-war Britain and supporting the Armed Forces. Their dedication and service continue to inspire.

We also recognise the 70th anniversary of National Service. Between 1949 and 1963, around two million young men served their country during times of global change. Their contribution still deserves lasting recognition.

More Than a Day of Remembrance

At Auctus Management Group and RSS Infrastructure, remembrance is not limited to a single day. It’s part of who we are.

We thank and celebrate our employees — past and present — who have served in the Armed Forces. Their skills, discipline, and teamwork enrich our business every day.

Our recognition of Armistice Day also reaffirms our promise to support the Armed Forces community. Through recruitment, awareness, and workplace initiatives, we continue to make a positive difference.

Reflecting on Service and Unity

As we embrace this year’s theme, “Remember Together – For All Who Serve,” we are reminded that remembrance is not only about the past. It is about unity, gratitude, and ensuring that those who serve — and have served — are never forgotten.

We invite everyone to pause, reflect, and honour all who have worn the uniform with pride.

Lest we forget.
