Driving Social Value is a vital component of Auctus Management Group’s working commitment. We engage with local groups on a number of fronts in a bid to recruit local people into training and sustained employment to help drive the local economy.
A values-led, safety critical company, Auctus Management Group prides itself on local engagement across a wide range of the local community. We have built strong relationships with local authorities, DWP, Job Centre Plus, Talent Match and many more. In addition, we actively recruit ex-forces personnel while offering ex-offenders a second chance through employment.
RSS have built a robust relationship with the local DWP. Since the relationship began, we have employed 62 people via DWP. Of which, we still have 29 working in the company and a further 15 are still working in the construction/rail industry.
70% of the applicants through DWP still remain active in the job market within the rail and construction industries.
In addition to this, we have a further 24 people still in training from DWP with a view to entering the workplace immediately on completion of their training.
Due to the outstanding success of the programmes, the West Midlands Combined Authority has approached us with developing our programmes across the wider West Midlands. As such, we now have three cohorts ready to be trained in the Wolverhampton area.
Our focus is on not only initial recruitment and training, but managing individuals to create a realistic and sustainable career path for employees to follow. That may not always be with us, but our commitment to the wider economic picture and local community ensures our focus is not just on our business needs.
As a result of proactive local engagement, AMG is better equipped to secure a workforce with varied talents and skill sets. This enhances the group’s ability to assess and understand the diverse needs of our current client base as well as opening doors to prospective customers that we may not have had previous access to.
