Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award Ceremony At The National Army Museum

Commenting on the night, Richard Toy, CEO said:

“I speak for the entire company when I say we are honoured to receive the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award. Through our continued work and commitment to helping members of the Armed Forces join the ever-expanding rail industry, we will continue to support ex-forces personnel that want a career within one of our organisations.”

John McDonough, Fleet & TWS Co-ordinator and a British Army veteran also added:

“Since joining RSS Infrastructure earlier on in the year, I have been offered numerous support avenues and opportunities due to my military background. Alongside Richard, I was one of the 5 cyclists in Auctus Management Group’s ‘Pedal To Paris’ team that rode from London to France over a 4 day period, so being a part of such a prestigious event, whilst raising money for The Royal British Legion, was a very proud moment in my civilian career.”

The MOD’s Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Awards represent the highest badge of honour available to those that employ and support those who serve, veterans, and their families. The scheme continues to grow year on year with awardees doubling in the last 12 months taking the total to 228.
