My mom is thrilled, and my dad would have been too – sadly, I lost him last year. Dad helped people all his life and was a great role model. He worked six and a half days a week to provide for his family and was the kindest man I have ever known. That’s all I try to do – help others where I can. I am very grateful to those who have worked so hard and for so long behind the scenes on the nomination.”
