AMG Participates In Pedal To Paris For Second Year

With the success of last year’s Pedal To Paris fundraising event, which was organised and supported by The Royal British Legion, members of Auctus Management Group Ltd and its subsidiary businesses; RSS Infrastructure Ltd and INFRA Skills Ltd will yet again assemble a small team to take on the intense 460km challenge for the second year in a row.

The Royal British Legion is a charity which provides support for members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. Being an avid supporter of the Royal British Legion; the company raises money for this worthy cause whenever it can, with all donations going towards supporting those in need within the Armed Forces community.

As proud members of the Armed Forces Silver Covenant Award, all companies are fully commitment to the Armed Forces and supporting the soldiers who currently serve, or have served their country. RSS Infrastructure Ltd are also an official Gold Sponsor of the Force Atlantic team, the team will be the first all Army rowing team to take on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, a 3,000 mile rowing challenge across the Atlantic, in December.

This year’s team consists of Richard Toy; CEO of Auctus Management Group Ltd and Sean Harrison; Managing Director, Brian Hopkinson; Rail Manager alongside new riders Simon Capper; Fleet Manager and John McDonough; Fleet Co-ordinator for RSS Infrastructure Ltd.

Richard Toy added:

“We are truly honoured to participate in Pedal To Paris again, with the success of last year’s team and fundraising efforts, we can’t wait to resume our training and get back on the saddle again. This year we have two veterans who work for RSS Infrastructure Ltd; Brian Hopkinson and John McDonough on the team. The two workers have an extraordinary work ethic, so we are delighted to not only participate in a charity event that is ran and supported by the Armed Forces, but to have two members of the team who have benefited from their tireless work.

As members of the Armed Forces Silver Covenant Award, and Gold Sponsors for the Force Atlantic rowing team, we aim to be on the frontline when it comes to supporting the Armed Forces on a personal and business level. We are immensely proud of our partnership with the British Armed Forces and strongly believe that anyone signing to the Covenant will help businesses to deliver more creative and innovative solutions”.

The team have all set themselves a goal to raise a minimum of £900 each for the charity in sponsorship money, as they look to surpass the £9,000+ raised last year.
